TANZANIA INTERNATIONAL MODEL UNITED NATIONS GENERAL ASSEMBLY 2013-PIUS MSEKWA HALL-FORMER PARLIAMENTARY HALL-DODOMA. GHANA,ZIMBABWE,MALAWI,KENYA,UGANDA,TANZANIA MAINLAND, ZANZIBAR, AND STAKEHOLDERS FROM UNITED NATIONS SYSTEM (UNDP) TOOK PART IN THE FORUM

The first ever Tanzania international model United Nations general assembly 2013 (02-06th April, 2013) under the theme “millennium development goals, envisioning social and economic development strategies post 2015” 

The youth consultation was made so as let youth be involved in the discussion though proposing and presenting their views to what they want the world to become. Youths from different backgrounds made their strong resolutions that will be helpful ion further discussion before and after the deadline of the MDG’s 2015. 

Tanzania international model united nations (TIMUN) general assembly made a general overview on the MDG’s and hence the discussion were stressed on the four main caucuses that were discussed during the GA (General Assembly), namely; 

· Health and Diseases;


Stress on the Access to health care facilities and quality health care services. Also, preparing for new diseases burdens and tackling HIV, Malaria and other diseases. 

· Poverty, Employment & Education;


Putting education to work, strategies to make education enable cover youth livelihood and getting out of poverty employment nexus. 

· Partnership for Development;


Develop further an open, rule base, predictable, non-discriminatory trading and financial system, also addressing special needs of least developed countries. 

· Climate Change & Energy;


Sufficient environmentally sustainable energy, also solving the energy and sustainable development nexus. 

To all these the GA Draft Resolution made, then youths can have a say on the world they want.
